How to Read A.L. Knorr’s Books
Why are your books only on Amazon?
Many of A.L. Knorr’s ebooks are only available on Amazon. This is because she currently participates in their exclusive author program. However, she is in the process of setting up her own store and putting her books on other retailers. See the Update on All the Madness for details. Currently, books from these series are available wide: Mermaid’s Return, The Rings of the Inconquo, and the first three books of The Scented Court. More will be rolled out as time and technology allow.

Future Planning
What are you working on right now?
I am starting a new series, A Trespass of Angels, Petra’s story (will publish June 2025). Book pages will be added as soon as I have all the artwork.
Are you writing more for Akiko and/or Petra?
A likely scenario; though I must add: contrary to popular belief, I’m not in charge of my imagination—it tends to go where it wants and I am helpless but to follow. The muse rules. Petra and Akiko come into my thoughts fairly frequently. They say to pass on a hello to you. If and when they whisper to me what they’ve been up to, I shall diligently scribble up an incident report and make it available to you.
Will Born of Water become a film?
I really wish I had control over this. I would love to see Targa and Mira swim across my screen. In 2019 a studio in LA expressed some interest in making a TV series, and in 2020 a different studio that produces content for Netflix asked about purchasing the rights to produce an animated series, but nothing was ever signed. Getting something brought to any screen big or little is a road paved with obstacles; even if material is licensed, there’s no guarantee it’ll ever get green-lit (put into production). So I’m not holding my breath, but if anything changes, I’ll be sure to post about it right here… and everywhere else too.
Miscellaneous
Why do authors need reviews?
The short answer is: because it lets other readers know you’ve enjoyed the book. The long answer (which includes a “how to”) can be found in the Journal entry: Why Should I Write a Review?
Will you send me an autographed copy of [an A.L. Knorr book]?
I’m pleased to announce that signed hardcover books are now available through The Signed Books Shop. At present, the three Scented Court books and Born of Water are available. More will be added in the coming weeks.
Will you read my manuscript?
Oh how I wish I had the time and energy to read every book and manuscript offered to me. Unfortunately, it’s simply not humanly possible, so please don’t send me anything. I can barely find my keyboard half the time.
